Grading Policy

The grading policy of General Music and Chorus is a reflection of what the student knows and is able to do as measured against the learning standards of the course.
Students will complete formatives : Daily Assignments or assignments that are completed while learning is taking place make up 40% of the final grade.
Students will complete Summative Assessments: Tests, Quizzes and Projects that are completed after the learning takes place will make up 60% of their grade.
 
 
Late work will be accepted but will have points deducted for missing the deadline. 
Students will be allowed to make up failing summative grades:
Students will be informed of what students will be required to do prior to doing test corrections, retaking test, etc. (e.g., remediation, complete all related assignments, etc.).
