The Riverside Middle School Counseling Department promotes the partnership of all stakeholders in the lives of students in which every student is actively learning, accepting of others, and soaring to new levels of personal excellence. Jessica Jenkins, Ed.S.
 
Mrs. Jenkins has 17 years of experience as a school counselor- she started her career as a high school counselor for the first 6 years.  She has experience at the elementary school level as well and is able to help students transition both into middle and high school understanding what is needed for a successful adjustment. She enjoys working with middle school students through this very challenging time period.  Students make tremendous growth in just three short years and she considers it a joy to support them.
 
Tunisia Williams, Ed.S.
 

Ms. Williams is in her 8th year as a school counselor. She previously was in higher education. She has a bachelors degree in communications and masters degree in counseling from Augusta State, and a specialist in education degree in counseling from Georgia Regents University.

Cynthia Fischer
Counseling Department Secretary

Mrs. Fischer has been at Riverside Middle for two years.  She assists in registration, maintaining student records and the day to day operations of the school counseling department.
