Class overview

For inclusion/co-teaching and resource classes, I will be providing modifications and accommodations according to individual needs.  I will work closely with other teachers to ensure that needs of all students are met.  

In Language Arts we will read novels and short stories, work on written expression, and work on grammar, which includes parts of speech, sentence structure, and figurative language. 

7th and 8th grade math standards will be implemented and we will practice and build on grade level concepts.  We will also utilize programs such as I-Ready and IXL to practice skills that we are covering. 

Please keep up with reading assignments and review notes every night. It is very important to work on homework assignments.  We will always review answers together on homework in class.  We will have formative and summative assessments.
